FLORIDXFAUNA (fxf) is the studio of Kristen Phillips, a Los Angeles based designer, sculptor, fabricator, and writer.

Fxf was launched in late 2014 with the purpose of centralizing work from a variety of categories - special effects, sculpture, avant garde fashion, science fiction, and mediums - latex, resin, metal, silicone, and taxidermy. The pieces created stand on their own but also influence each other.

Kristen is a (mostly) self taught artist with a bachelors degree in Film and Video Production from Drexel University. Since 2004 she has worked as a freelance creative, producing masks, props, costumes, and prosthetics for live events, film, television, theater and private collectors.
